Artifac

Terms

The terms for using Artifac. By creating an account or publishing an artifact, you agree to them.

Your account

You need an account to publish artifacts and manage workspaces. Keep your sign-in secure, and you are responsible for what happens through your account, including what agents you connect to it do there.

What you publish

You keep ownership of the artifacts you and your agents publish and of the data saved in them. You give Artifac permission to store, copy, and serve that content only as needed to run the service for you and the people you share it with, including generating previews of it.

You decide who can open each artifact. Anyone who has the link can open an artifact set to anyone with the link or to public, and a public one with a subdomain can appear in search results.

Acceptable use

Do not use Artifac to publish or run:

  • Malware, or code that attacks visitors, their devices, or other services.
  • Phishing, or pages that pretend to be another person, company, or service.
  • Content that is illegal, or that infringes someone else's rights.
  • Spam, or anything meant to get around Artifac's limits or security.

We may remove an artifact, take back a subdomain, or suspend an account that breaks these rules, and we will tell you when we do unless the law or someone's safety prevents it.

Plans and payment

Artifac has a free plan and a paid plan at $3 a month, billed by Stripe. Their allowances are on the pricing page. You can cancel at any time. The paid allowances then last until the end of the period you paid for.

When an account holds more than its plan allows, nothing is deleted. The excess is paused until there is room for it again.

Deleting

A deleted artifact stays in Trash for 30 days, where an Owner can restore it, and is then deleted permanently. You can stop using Artifac at any time, and you can ask us to delete your account.

Availability

We work to keep Artifac running and your content safe, but the service is provided as it is, without warranties, and it may change or be interrupted. To the extent the law allows, Artifac is not liable for lost data, lost profits, or indirect damages from using it. Keep your own copies of anything you cannot afford to lose.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change in a way that matters, we will say so on this page before the change takes effect. Continuing to use Artifac after that means you accept the new terms.
